Eurocps approach to work and life draws from a variety of sources and especially the writings of the philosopher Martin Buber. We take seriously his challenge to co-create an I-Thou attitude (seeing one self and the other as a human being and not as an object to be manipulated) in all aspects of personal, professional and spiritual development. The I-Thou attitude informs and permeates all our activity and endeavor. We therefore support and challenge people to deeper levels of contact with themselves and others, including the earth and all living creatures.

The Farm
Ken and Joanna also manage a farm in France, La Volee, which is pro-organic and working toward self sustainability based on the belief that our future requires an eco friendly world.
At La Volee we maintain a flock of pedigree Suffolk sheep plus a sprinkling of cross breed Suffolk with Lynn (Welsh) and Shetland (Scottish). Until September 2010 we maintained a small herd of Charolais and Limousine cows. In the April 2011 two Normandy cattle - Dominic and Didier, along with a Limousine called Denzil, joined the animal fraternity. The youngest of our two working border collies, Gem, is a naturally gifted sheepdog and will enter her fist novice trial in the Autumn 2013. Together with her mother, Pip, they have a friendly and effective relationship with the sheep and save us a lot of running around!
Help is always appreciated around the farm. We welcome enquiries from one or two eco-friendly people wanting to work with the land and animals on a free B&B/Lunch basis for up to 12 weeks. Robust health and a friendly social personality essential. Email Ken or Joanna.
